Farm X-Ray is a service of Biocer Ambiental LTDA, an environmental consultancy registered in Brazil (CNPJ 51.227.164/0001-97, Aparecida de Goiânia, Goiás). This policy explains what we collect on this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and password. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of the password, never the password itself.
- The land you check: the boundaries you draw or upload, the tracts you save, your scores and your reports.
- Your orders and plan: what you bought and when, and whether you have Pro. Card details go straight to Paddle, our payment provider; we never see or store them.
- Messages you send us, with any optional answers such as your role or state.
- Campaign tags in the page link (such as utm_source), so we know which ad or post brought you.
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser and time of the request), kept for security and to keep the site running.
What we use it for
- To run your account, build your reports and email them to you.
- To send the codes that confirm your email or reset your password.
- To answer your messages and to improve the service.
We do not sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use a few providers to run the site: our web host; Paddle, which processes payments as Merchant of Record; an email delivery service; Google Fonts; and public map services (USGS, AWS terrain tiles, Microsoft Planetary Computer and federal map servers), which receive your IP address when the map loads their images.
We also use two measurement tools: Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages help, and the Meta Pixel, to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. They record pages you visit and a few actions (creating an account, getting a free score, starting checkout, buying), along with your browser and approximate location. They do not receive your tract, your password or your card. You can block them with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies to measure visits and ads, as described above. Paddle sets its own cookies during checkout.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. You can ask us to delete it at any time; order records may be kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@farmxray.com. Every email we send will also have a way to stop receiving them. If you live in California or another state with a privacy law, these rights apply to you in the same way.
Children
This service is for adults buying, selling or financing land. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
International transfer
We are based in Brazil, and your data may be stored and processed outside the United States. We protect it the same way wherever it is stored.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
